It is sometimes nice to be so caught up in your life, busy performing, doing your daily activities (the usual 7-5 day) that you have the time or the sense to realize that time is passing you by.  Sometimes it is good not to contemplate the what ifs, the wish it was that ways, better to live a life without regret. Is that the happy idiot?  To think- is ignorance truly bliss?  Knowledge is power; but with power comes responsiblity and one must pay a price.  Then again, it is good to make a reflection of your life to make sure that you are going on the right life course.   I guess that's what people do when they are moving to the next phase of their life- reflect and redirect. 

I think that many people who are depressed suffer from a realistic expectation of the world and do not easily adapt to change around them.  Better to bend like bamboo in the wind than to just snap under the pressure?
